Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 🙌👀 Classes continued and it was the turn for group 5 and 6 to teach. So, let’s see what our classmates taught that day to their students📚. The group number 5 started with an interesting warm up that was Human Knot🙌🏻, the teachers participated with the students in order to create a good environment between teachers and students🤗. The class was about telling the time, they explained the difference between a watch and a clock⏰. The teachers did a little practice by asking students how to read an analog and digital clock⌚️. They put some papers under the students’ desks and these papers contained questions based on the activity they presented. Students made pairs, one was going to read the numbers (hours/minutes) they got in a paper and the other one was going to have an analog clock where the student needed to set the time🕰️ they got in the paper. Boys’🙋🏻‍♂️ vs girls’🙋🏻‍♀️ activity, and it was about writing the time they heard 👂 in...

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 🙌👀 We continued with the classes, and it was the turn for group 3 and 4 to give the class. I couldn’t be in the classes of these groups as I had obligatory training at my job and that was the reason for my absence😬. But let's start with the amazing classes that both groups taught that day😄. The group number 3 started the class with a recap of the simple present structure as a warm up💪. After that they did a pretty good activity in which they presented 2 pictures🖼️, and the students had to choose the image that best represented the action the teacher was saying🗣️. Also, they had an activity where a video about daily routines was played, and students needed to answer the worksheet📝 that the teacher gave to them. They presented different practices, and one of them was about having a conversation💬 with their peers answering different kinds of questions like "What do you do on Christmas🎄 or on your birthday🎂?" To end the...

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 🙌👀 We are getting to the end of this semester, but here we are once again with another round of classes🙌. It was Maru's and my group's turn😁. I think we were less nervous than the first time and we could say that because we already knew how to teach a class and we tried to do our best that day💪. Our class was focused on vocabulary and we taught daily routines and frequency adverbs. Alexia started with the warm-up doing charades🎭 where students needed to do the daily activity that they got in a paper to start practicing for the topic. After that Noé began teaching the subject by having students learn and repeat the vocabulary of routines and frequency adverbs. Then, Giselle did some activities with a worksheet📝 and another one where the students had to paste the routines in the frequency adverbs that they thought best on the board. Continuing with the class, it was my turn to do the other activity; students had to write down t...

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 🙌👀 So, we finished the first part of teaching students, and it was a pretty good experience for me to be doing it for the first time😄. But we are here to talk about the last two groups for that session. Their class was focused on listening👂, and they taught the numbers🔢 and the objects that you can find in a classroom📚✐. They started with an interesting activity as a warm-up, then they taught the numbers and practiced the pronunciation with the students, also they gave vocabulary about classroom objects. I liked the activity where students worked in pairs, and they had to write down the numbers and classroom objects they heard in the audio👂. And they wrap up by asking questions to the students to review what they have learned🙌. The students had break time⌚, and it was the turn of the last group to take their roles as teachers. Their class was focused on reading👀📖 where they first started with an activity where students needed to...

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 🙌👀 The classes continued and it was the turn for group 5 and 6. I wasn’t able to be in the classes because of my job😪. But, thanks to Katherine💜 who explained and told me everything that happened in the classes, here is my entry. Group 5 - Their class was about the topics of numbers🔢 and classroom objects✏. They taught the students how to say the numbers correctly. Their practice was about asking questions that have to do with numbers, for example, what is your ID number? What is your phone number? and others, so the students can put into practice the numbers. Also, the students learned about objects in the classroom, and they had an activity about the teacher saying a sentence and the students had to translate it into Spanish. Group 6 - Their class was about the Verb to be in the negative➖ and interrogative❓ form. The group started with an interesting game about guessing the country. Then they explained the structure of the verb ...
