Groups 3 & 4 classes

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog!馃檶馃憖

Well, we continued teaching students, and it was Maru's and my group's turn馃槤. I was really nervous馃槦 because it was my first time doing it in front of people that I didn’t know, and second because our class was about to start, and not many students had arrived at our class but after a few minutes they showed up and the class started normally馃槍.

To start we gave to each student name tags in order to make the class enjoyable and to call the students by their names馃憖. We taught 3 different topics which were greetings, verb to be in affirmative and spelling focusing on listening馃憘. We had different activities like draw what you listen to, spelling bee馃悵, and one of the most liked by the class was “Chayanne’s Hot Potato馃”; Giselle and Alexia came up with that name because we were going to play “Torero” by Chayanne for the wrap up activity馃槀. In addition, during the class we gave prizes to all the students who participated so that they would feel more willing to learn and participate in the class馃崿.

The students had a break and the second class started. Maru’s group class was about greetings and spelling personal information focused on reading馃摉. An activity they made was choosing victims馃憟 from the students to pass in the front and start a conversation馃棧 using the topics they learned since that moment, also they requested to the students that didn’t pass to the front to pay attention to the conversation and write the greetings that were not used in the improvised conversation✍. (I stole this photo from Fer's Blog hahaha馃槀).

Teacher Orlando took the time to give us feedback, and let me tell you that it is impressive how he gave us in detail all the feedback of our class, clearly you can see the years of experience he has as a teacher. Teaching to real students was a pretty good experience. Sometimes it's a bit hard, but when I saw that they were learning something I was surprised. I hope that the next groups do their best when teaching, because they may also be impressed by how fast the students learn馃檶馃槻.

This is the entry for this week, and I hope you like it. Stay tuned for more classes, be safe, and bye, bye!馃構✌
