Group Planning and Feedback

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog!馃檶馃憖

The previous session was more about Group Planning and Feedback, so we didn’t receive any new topic this week. Teacher Orlando first called the team leader of the group to go and take the group number, we got number three, and we are going to teach the topic greetings with listening activities on September 21st. Also, we are going to teach our class in front of real students which I’m a little bit worried about since I don’t have that gift of being a teacher馃槦馃槄, however I will try my best to accomplish that haha馃檶. In addition, our classmates will be observing the class so they can have a better perspective on what to do and what to improve when teaching and not making a flat or boring lesson馃槾.

In the session's final part, we received feedback and our grades for our first teaching experience馃憖. Teacher Orlando asked about our overall impressions and what changes we would make next time. He was surprised by my answer because I'm not the type of person who likes to teach, but he thought I was haha馃槄. But despite that I told him that I was going to give my best馃檶. He told us that our class was great even though it was our first time and that there were some points that we had to improve, which we will try to do with our group in our next lesson馃憤馃懟.

(PDP) in teaching classes is important because it promotes effective lesson planning, active student engagement, ongoing assessment, adaptability, and alignment with educational goals. PPP - Presentation, Practice & Production

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to my blog! 馃檶馃憖 This week’s topic was PPP – lesson planning framework. We learned that an English class is composed by three important parts that are Presentation, Practice and Production馃槉. Thanks to this we can understand how a class can be structured to help all students achieve the objectives set by the teacher from the start馃憣. This approach consists of the following stages: Presentation: In here, basically is where the teacher take place, give an introduction and explain the new topic that students will be learning. Practice:  Is where students practice what they have learn in the class from their teacher. Here the teacher must do at least two activities: The free practice is where students can experiment through the language and making mistakes is ok.
